Okay, serious question time.
Its AGo3 related
(tl;dr version below)
Up to this point, only one person has read my story completely. She read it like two years ago when in was in its -really- rough draft.
and now she's reading it again, after I've made my major editing.
I'm not sure how far she is on the reading. I've yet to ask her and she's busy this week.
Question time.
I'm getting kinda antsy about the story, and have been pondering whether I should try getting it published now.... Or wait a bit longer. The only people that should read it before I reach that next step are my parents.
And I'm petrified to show them it...
They're less than supportive, and not much into reading, especially fantasy...
TL;DR VERSION
Should I just put it all on the line and ask my parents to read the book? Even though they might not like it?
And then should I just jump right in and try to get it published?
Those are the decisions I need help with...
You read the first chapter...hopefully... What do you think?

Whoooooooops nooooot deeeeaaaaad
I think this is the longest accidental "break" I've taken from this great place XD
I think it's been about a year since I was last active.... oooooooops.
I'd say this won't happen again and I'm here to stay this time.
But who am I kidding? I'll do it again! It's just who I am.
I fall off the earth often X'D
Hiatus, yay
Been on hiatus for like 4 months. For no reason whatsoever. I've talked about these strange occurrences before.
I sorry.
About to upload a mass photo dump, of stuff from all the way in April ^^;

You'd think I'd learn by now
So..... I went on another dA hiatus......
not on purpose...
Have you noticed? I have this horrible problem of instability. I'm really good for a while of keeping up on things, and then will suddenly drop off the face of the earth. I do that with my writing too....
and then I get a bunch of deviations and journals and comments piled up, and I get anxiety cause I know I've missed a bunch of stuff, and that causes me to avoid coming on, which piles things up more, and snowballs...
until I finally say enough is enough and decide to get on... and end up with over 5,000 deviations and 12,000 journals....... oops XD
Don't feel too bad, I did th

I'd have to agree with Chloe, ask your parents to read it, and if they say yes, that's great, let them read it and see how amazing it is! If they say no, just take it straight to be published.
Good luck.
